Anna Barbara Kastelewicz studied music with a major in violin in Berlin, London and Bloomington/USA. She works nationally and internationally as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster.

She also studied musicology and education in Berlin.
In addition, she trained as a “systemic coach”.

Anna Barbara Kastelewicz taught music, violin and management in London and Berlin, as a lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts and the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music Berlin.

In 2009, she developed and designed the newly introduced subject “Extracurricular Key Competencies” for the Hanns Eisler University of Music Berlin. At the same time, she worked there for two years as a student advisor.

Anna Barbara Kastelewicz founded the artist agency KASTELEWICZ music in progress in 2004 and is its managing director. In the agency, trainees acquire knowledge and expand their knowledge every year in individually supervised training, combined with practical and independent work.

Anna Barbara Kastelewicz founded two project orchestras, which she leads as artistic director and as concertmaster. She is the initiator and since 2016 the artistic director of the new cultural festival Schlösser und Gärten der Mark. Her agency takes over the implementation of the festival. From 2007 to 2013, she was also artistic director of the Lüneburger Heide Music Festival and presided over the MFLH e.V. association as its second chairwoman.
