„Roaring Twenties“
The Salon Orchestra is pleased to present you the most beautiful Slow Fox and Hot Jazz numbers of the “Roaring Twenties” – and in the original arrangement, which has become rare! The classically trained musicians always prefer to leave their melodic-harmonic foundation and the “serious” genre to let off steam in the music of the “Roaring Twenties”.
Look forward to many surprises, such as the yodeling singing trio, a Comedian Harmonists interlude, and songs like “Veronika, der Lenz ist da”, “Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus” or “Puttin’ on the Ritz” and many more!
Marlene Dietrich and Zarah Leander send their regards, swing and early American jazz arrangements from the thirties of the last century are to be discovered, for example by George Gershwin, Fletcher Henderson, Irving Berlin and many others – something for everyone!

Dances from the Straussian Viennese Waltz over Foxtrot and Twostep, Slow Waltz and Slowfox to Swing, but also just the charming Shimmy and the snappy Charleston are on the program, not to forget of course the Argentine Tango!
The Salon Orchestra leads you with nostalgic-lyrical melodies and of course also with cheerful-racy numbers to the buffet, on the dance floor and – wherever you want!

In the most festive time of the year, when everything glitters and shines, the Salon Orchestra brings back the golden twenties. With everything that gilded the music even then: Versatile arrangements, virtuoso musical long-distance journeys and comic to melancholic lyrics.
The program holds countless Christmas classics, such as “In dulci jubilo” (sung as a canon), “White Christmas”, “Jingle Bells”, “Walkin in a winter wonderland” and many more. Enjoyable numbers, such as a ragtime on “O Tannenbaum”/ “Maryland”, “Christmas song chemically cleaned” or “Ice cream” provide a cheerful festive mood.
